We skipped Hiroshima from our original itinerary as it ws too hot and we were looking for a hotel with a swimming pool.
NOTE: Japanese hotels charge for use of the swimming pool.
The Westin hotel was located right next to the Umeda Sky building.
Umeda Sky Building (4) Skyscraper with observation deck.
The first level below ground is a restaurant floor called the "Takimi Lane of Restaurants" where a townscape of Osaka in the early Showa era has been reproduced.
We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant surprisingly authentic and delicious in the Dôtonbori - part of Namba district and considered heart of the city . The Dotonburi is a like Times Square on steroids.
