A leisurely Sabbath morning at the Saxin's. We have really enjoyed being with their family. We had had lots of great conversation. On thing we talked about was the proposed Feast site in Sweden for 2009. They have offered some good input that that I'd like take back to the Spenser's in our planning.

Stefan has taken an interest in possibly going to Ukraine to help with the Vinogradov program. We may very well have four now helping. We need to get everyone talking and get this project organized. It seems like a year ago that we had seen the Harper's. After being on the road a full three weeks one thing blends into another.

Our Bible Study is scheduled for 1:30 PM. Bernt goes out to pick up one of the ladies at the local train station. A total of three people arrive from Boras. Their names are Deborah, Matilda and Leo. With the three Saxin's and Bev and me we have eight present.

The Bible Study went very well. I had written to the Saxin's about subjects they thought would be of greatest interest. He gave me five which included grace, wisdom, what is truth. We zeroed in on Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge. It lent itself to a good study of scriptures in Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, James. It also lent itself to some good discussion.

Afterwards, Olga Saxin prepared dinner and we talked some more. We have thoroughly enjoyed being with all the people we have visited. They all said that they looked forward to meeting again. I was going to come back in March, but don't see how I can. But, I'll probably be back through here in July. Time goes by so quickly anyway.

As mentioned, my Internet connectivity this past week has not been the best, so these reports will probably not get posted until Bev and I get to Oslo on Sunday. We probably will get a hotel Sunday night, regroup and make our last four visits starting bright and early Monday morning. We're wondering about the weather report for heavy snow in Norway.

The darkness is a BIG thing and do affect your outlook. It doesn't get light until mid-morning and about two-thirds of the way through my Bible Study it was starting to get dark. Then the night goes on and on and on and it's not really that late.

After dinner three of us went into Gothenburg for a visit. Afterwards I called up to Norway and a brand new person receiving the Good News wants to know more about the Church and further involvement. He will meet us at the Oslo bus station at 2:15 PM. I cannot get over how good the train system is in these countries, but how bad the train connections are BETWEEN the various Scandinavian countries. We will take the bus at 10:15 from Goteburg to Oslo.

The evening ended with Olga making Glög. It's a warmed up wine that you put hazel nuts and raisins into. Like a hot toddy. Tasted nice. Afterwards to bed and prayer and thoughts about the rest of the trip.

Wow!
It's amazing that you are still on this trip! It does feel like a long time since we parted in Budapest. Since we last saw you we've been to Switzerland and back for almost a week of skiing with a family in the church that lives near Geneva. This family also greatly appreciates visitors and fellowship, as they are without a French-speaking congregation their part of the country. Thank you for your words about the isolated brethren in Europe and other countries. That is one of the big lessons we are learning here in France--how extremely blessed we are in the United States (even with small congregations that might be a little spread out), and how important fellowship and assembly is for all of us!

It's good to hear about the possibility of more help with the TESOL program in Ukraine. Let's get it rolling! You are in our thoughts and prayers for the remainder of your trip. Thank you for all that you both do, for the Church and for others.
