Memphis!

79 degrees today, lovely!
We did the tour of Graceland today. We went in his mansion, automobile museum and aeroplanes and saw all his tropheys and awards, then to the meditation garden where he is buried. I really enjoyed the whole day, and the place was suprisingly not as gimmicky as I thought it would be. We signed the 'Wall of Love' outside his home, where there were also lots of crazy fans doing the same (I wish I was around earlier to appreciate Elvis more! Mum, you would have loved it!)
We went down to Beale Street where there was soul bands playing in the gardens and it was a really good lively atmosphere.
We walked passed the old Sun Studios where loads of people such as B.B.King, Otis Reading, Al Green and of course Elvis recorded all of his stuff here.
At night, the place comes alive again so we went to a really good bar where they were an excellent soul band were playing, it was so good! and finished off a really great day.
Did you know, Martin Luther King was assassinated here? Fact! (what a geek!)
