After we dragged ourselves from the lake we boarded the bus one last time with dumbo the driver to queenstown, now apart from this being the home of adventure sports there is for the less adventurous a burger place... but more about that in a minute.
I've jumped out of a plane my knackered neck means no bungy jumping for me so i went for the sport i'm best at drinking.
My god queenstown is party town, it was about 5 am that we went to be the first night and i dread to think how much we spent and drank but it was a bloody good night, we trawled the towns bars, unfortunately finding a bar full of scums and delinquents on the way, however it worked out well in the end and much vouge-ing and drinking cocktails from tea pots followed.
Next morning i awoke - drunk. Not good but anyway these things happen. Before i even got to NZ about 3 people told me about fergburger... in my drunken state and it being about 2 pm i headed over for well we'll say brunch! IMMENSE! Believe the hype, it's the best burger you will ever et, or in my case veggie burger, much more sleeping followed and whilst wallowing muttering the infamous 'never again' i got dragged to the bar and in a bid to get over my hangover i drank more. Oh dear another immense night followed and i finally got to say goodbye to my retarded bus driver. Good riddance more like.
Anyway i did actually get about and wander and see stuff but it really was all about the vodka, it was a cool cool place, very pretty and charming little town. The south island is definitely the place to be in NZ thats for certain!
