Super tired as I write this. Just got back from my day out, dinner was being served in the hostel so I dumped my stuff, stuffed my face and now facing the lake haha! Had apple strudel, soo much better in the country (I think?) it comes from, not the soggy apple mess you get in England. Today I went to Krimml waterfall which (again, I think) is the highest on Europe. Hiked pretty much to the top, lots of stops for photos of the rainbows created from the falls. There were lots of viewing platforms where, if you stood there for a short while, you could get drenched from the spray of the falls. The noise was awesome, you could feel the power of shed *loads of water (*shed load not an actual term, see Wikipedia for actual facts n figures) thundering down beside you. I stopped nr the top, ate the roll I'd made up at the hostels breakfast, did some rock climbing, filled my water bottle from the river and headed back down. Met a couple from Reading on the journey to the falls, first by a rickety old train, then by bus. They had some cool hats there, I may end up buying one, I could get away with it here in yodeling country, but bk home, think I'd get a bit of stick for it :P early night is on the cards I think, not sure how long I can stay awake for! I'm starting to understand more German than I can speak, which is weird, I was talking to a German family on the train to the falls, I was answering her questions in German while she was asking them in English! Her kids were playing starwars toptrumps, was funny hearing them compare stats of the Death Star and the millennium falcon, deathstar seeming to be THE top trump. Still no one else in my room, so I've got the place to myself woo! #takeupalllltheroom
