We checked out of our room as we are moving to a double today. We stored our bags, had some brekky, then went for a walk to Tres Fronteras. This is about a 30 minute walk to a cliff top overlooking the Iguazu river. From here you get some fantastic panoramic views of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. (Tres Fronteras meaning Three Borders).

It was really nice up here and not at all touristy. You can just relax and take in the great scenery. It's also funny to see how the river divides these three countries.

After a couple of hours we went back to the hostel and chilled by the pool. I sat watching the scores come in from England and can't believe Forest turned a defeat into victory!! Wonders will never cease!

This evening we went to a really good restaurant in Iguazu called 'Color'. We got a free Argentinean cocktail on arrival and then proceeded to have one of the best steaks - and hugest - ever. It was absolutely fantastic and I was struggling to eat it all. Yes, I nearly left some.....I said nearly.....do not worry, I didn't let you down, I finished the whole thing....just!!
We washed it all down with a bottle of wine and it was quite a romantic evening - there was even some local live music playing. We realised that we have been travelling exactly 10 months today! (We left on 11th June 2008). With this knowledge and an unlikely Forest victory, we decided the meal was a celebration - to help us feel better about the cost!!

We were so full when we left, we just waddled back over to the hostel and collapsed.
