The toilet activity, as promised yesterday, arrived at 7.30am. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, so another plus sign for the Star of India.

We had a bit of a sort it out day today.
Obviously we started the day with our free pancakes before anything else.

We then went up to the bus station to get some info on buses to Copacabana on Lake Titticaca. The hostel was trying to charge 110 BOB's each to go from La Paz to Copacabana tomorrow and the Copacabana to Puno on Sunday. At the bus station it was 50 BOB's each - no brainer there then.

Good thing was, the person at the ticket office didn't speak any English, so I had to do my best with my Spanish - no doubt we will end up in Venezuela then!!
Actually we are getting more confident with our requesting Spanish, but we are a long way off conversational Spanish yet! It will come though.

Our new plan - changed yet again - is to go to Copacabana and spend 2 nights there so that we can walk from North to South along Isla Del Sol in Lake Titticaca.
We will then go up to Puno in Peru for one night and visit the floating reed islands. Then it's off to Cusco.

We decided to nip to the supermarket to purchase tonight's feed - nip my backside! It took us 40mins to get there....and that was downhill! The return journey was twice as bad (the altitude started to kick in), so we took a break at Burger King (I know it's bad, but we were blowing out our bumholes!).

When we finally ascended to the top of Everest and into our hostel, we decided to borrow one of their dodgy copy DVD's and relax. We chose The Dark Knight but the blummin' DVD froze with about 20mins left!! We will have to watch the end some other time.

In the evening we had a spag bol from the ingredients purchased earlier then headed up to the bar for our free beers. It was film quiz night, which we were pants at, but we still got a free shot.
I chose to shoot Lorna, but apparently it wasn't that sort of shot they were giving away! Never mind.

Off to Copacabana tomorrow - no not that one, the Bolivian one!
