Well the next two days worth of blog shouldn't take much reading. We are off to New Zealand today and don't land until about 2pm (NZ time) tomorrow.
We have, however, been watching the news about the Qantas plane that nose-dived out the sky this week. That was on it's way from Singapore to Perth. We would like to avoid any such incidents please!

The plan of our flight is as follows :
Depart Singapore at 19:50 (Singapore time)
Land in Sydney at 06:10 (Sydney time)
Depart Sydney at 08:15 (Sydney time)
Land in Auckland at 13:30 (Auckland time)

Lets see if it all goes to plan.

We checked out of our hotel at 12noon and had a walk down to Vivo City. We are going to get the MRT from here to the airport later. We grabbed some lunch and had a chill out for an hour.

When we arrived at the airport we had a right ordeal. All the boards said our flight was going to leave on time at 19:50. When we checked in, we were told the flight was on time at 19:50 and we would start boarding at 21:00............this took me a minute.........my response was "so, we board after the plane has taken off then?"..........there was a silent response........"Do we get special transport to transfer us onto the plane somewhere over Darwin?"!

Unimpressed, the check-in retard said the flight was still on time but is now leaving at 21:45.......so, not on time then!
Apparently they changed the flight time last week, but conveniently forgot to let all the passengers know - nice! This however, had a knock-on effect to us as we had a connecting flight in Sydney (to Auckland) at 8.15am. We informed our twitching little friend behind the check-in desk about this, who replied "You'll be alright, it lands at 7am"! Interesting.....it was meant to land at about 7am if it took off at the right time - 2 hours earlier! Have they fitted a Knight Rider Turbo to this new plane so we get there quicker? Idiot! Realising this person was as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest, we decided to go and have a word elsewhere.

We were finally informed that we would indeed miss our connecting flight - shock, horror - so he rebooked us on the 09:30 from Sydney.

We decided to grab a bit of food before finally getting our plane later that evening. The in-flight movie I watched was The Happening.......nothing happened! It's not very good. Tried to sleep.
