After breakfast we set off on our 12km trek up to a local hill tribe village populated by the Black Muong people. It was planned to take the trek at an easy pace to enjoy all the scenery and surroundings. The idea was to arrive at the homestay in the hills at about 2.30 - 3.00pm.
