... Things I almost remember." Do you like the kinda-sorta play on words/song from Anastasia? How fitting for a Russian wedding! Too bad you probably need the title to be sung to understand what I even mean.
ANYWAY, the 15th was Elena's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception, and was very fun. It was hard for us to tell what parts of the wedding were Israeli or Russian, but it was very different from a Jewish-American wedding and was ... a lot more fun. :)
The reception included copious amounts of alcohol on the table, replenished at all times, two DJ/Emcees who wore sparkly belts and wrist bands and performed and danced throughout the night, and two extraordinarily enormous plush dancing bears that dominated the dance floor. Combine this with Russians' well-known good taste in dance music, and this wedding was a hit.

I have no words for those videos! The bride looks beautiful, as always. On a separate note, thank YOU, David, for being such a good host to Lauren. When Larry and I heard you were going, we felt completely comfortable about this trip! How lucky you all are to have each other!
