We love Buenos Aires. It is a very modern city and has so much to do and see. Plus it is incredibly cheap.

Amazing Cemetry - Saw an amazing cemetery were the famous Evita, of donīt cry for me Argentina fame, is buried. Each plot is as big as a tiny house. Walking around you are sometimes fooled that you are in a small town. It also has very impressive scenery.

Salsa - Special Experience. Went to Salsa Class with local Argentinians. After we met Alejendro who was to be our private Salsa instructor for the next week. His studio was the living room at his friends tiny apartment. Alejendro was a great character with a passion for Salsa and showing us his videos to prove it. Dan is a spastic at Salsa but Vee easily picked up the steps. We had a lot of fun and learnt the basics. The most embarrassing moment was when we went to a Salsa club and tried to dance with the locals. Very frustrating ending with Vee and I in a fight.

Jazz - Nice dinner at Jazz club.

Nightclubbing - They party long in BA. A typical night starts at 1 am and continues to 8am and then breakfast.

Shopping - We went nuts buying sunglasses, boardshorts, suits, belts, watches etc. The shopping is very cheap and the shopping centers are very modern. Also there is a huge range of movie theatres.

Tango Show - Went to boutique tango show. Raunchy show with dancers, violin, bass, tango singer and naked actors. The table beside us was 2 Americas who were taking their conservative mother to the pleasure of local tango. I think the mother was in shock after the show.

La Boca - Colourful suburb at the rough end of town. Home of the famous football team.

San Telmo - Beautiful suburb with great markets and Tango dancers in the street.
