Yesterday evening we had spoken with our good friend Dan who lives in Phoenix to see if we could meet up with him and catch up as it was over a year since we last met. As he was in, we arranged to arrive at his house in Phoenix at 1pm for lunch.

We woke up at 7am, but something was not right. We both had bad headaches and stomach problems. We tried to get ready but it was impossible so decided to sleep a bit more. We had no idea what it could be, but given the symtoms we blamed the fajitas as we only had one beer each the night before.

Anyway, we struggled to get ourselves together and at 11am we started driving to Phoenix. It all made sense when we made our way out of Williams and saw that the town is at an elevation of 7,000 feet. As we started to descend to Phoenix our headaches disappeared and we started feeling hungry...what a relief.

We arrived at Dan's place at 3pm, and after a quite chat he took us on a short tour of Phoenix which we greatly enjoyed (especially in the air conditioned car!).

After the tour we played a short practice of Baseball with Dan's son and one of his friends before letting Dan surprise us with his famous home made Tacos. Hmmm, hmmmm, deeeelicious!

We ended the evening with a good long game of Wii Golf, which Marcos and Veronika won by 4 points! Good show!

All early to bed and sleeping by 10 pm...
