After a few days in nice parks, we reached a place in the map where there is virtually nothing but desert and small mountains. It was time for the big push...a long drive to get to the West.
And what exactly is a long drive for us....650 miles or 1.050 kms in one go, practically non-stop until we reached Sacramento to collapse in a motel room with chinese take away.
We actually had aimed to do Salt Lake City to Reno, but just when we were about 1 hour away from Reno we heard on the radio that there was the annual Street Vibration festival there, with 40,000 plus bikers staying there the whole weekend...bummer! And we thought we would get a cheap rate at one of the casinos there :-)
Anyway...not much to add. We made it!
