Luckily there was a great sun shine at Cape Cod because we were all struggling badly after "one too many for the road" (even though we were sitting at The Taute's terrace after dinner). So we didn't need much pushing to get us walking around the historical town of Wellfleet.

For those who haven't been around the place, its a small town full of art galleries and colonial wooden houses. Some of the pictures will show how it is.

Don took us around for a long walk and a deserved rest and soda at the town pier. We then greased our stomaches a bit with a light lunch at the "Beachcomber" restaurant which used to be the sea guards house in the old times and now has up to 30 minute waits to sit down (especially on a Labor Day weekend).

In the afternoon we got to meet Rick juniors other half (Kirstin) and their sons Hunter and Brooke. We all managed to fit into Ricks vehicle and visit the town at the end of Cape Cod...the historical Provincetown, where the Pilgrims arrived on the "Mayflower" in 1620.

P'Town is top gay and lesbian vacation destination, and the shops, bars and restaurants reflect it clearly. It definetly a great place to spend a day and to have dinner. We had dinner and a couple of beers at the "Bradford Governor" who also has karaoke led by a transvestite (otherwise know as "scaryoaky").
