Ohh!!!! It was an early day...5 am in order to see the first sunrays hit the geysers which is the best time to see them. The good thing is that due to lack of electricity in the area and the fact that it gets dark around 7pm here we are normally sleeping by 9pm which allows loads of sleeping recovery.

They geysers were fantastic and much better than on the Chilean side of San Pedro de Atacama. Here they are all together and the effect is much stronger.

On the other hand, the relaxing swim in the thermal waters is better in Chile where you can actually swim around (it is deep enough). In Bolivia you can just sit and you need to compete with loads of people for a gap...

The best of course was the pancake breakfast (again) after the early rise and thermal bath. It was also necessary as showers in hotel 2 were not working, and we didnt shower in hotel 3!

The day was again complete with different sceneries although not as impacting as the first 2 days. Also we managed to check on Grobers mechanic skills during the last days back to Uyuni as we had 2 punctures and the alternator was overheating. All three times he acted calmly and found a solution to the problem to keep going. We were all thinking that we would be stuck in the dessert waiting for someone else to take us home. However his repair for the alternator was to put a wet cloth over it and stop every 40 mins to poor some water....

We have put all the videos of the trip on this entry. Some show the size of the Salar quite well.
