Just a short update on what we are doing:
- sleeping
- eating
- sleeping
- eating
etc,
We have now bought our tickets to go North on Monday lunch time (towards Calama) so in the meantime we have been enjoying with Veronika´s family, as well as with our good old friend Raul (and Gabi). So the best we could do to summarize is put info on where we went:
- Friday night: Tiramisu restaurant (Italian) http://www.frommers.com/destinations/santiago/D52735.html
- Saturday lunch: Parrilladas. Argentinian restaurant in Santiago...and much better than Argentina itself by the way!
http://www.parrilladas.cl/index_content.html
We are off to taste some home made Pisco...
News in Northern South America: you probably already saw the show of the South American presidents yesterday in Santo Domingo, but sufficient to say that in pure Latin style they all shouted, waved arms, cried and then all embraced and promised eternal brotherly (and sisterly) love. Good for South America...until the next time.
