Long Walk Home - Day 5 Torres del Paine

Yes...you guessed. I decided to walk another 18 kilometres and get the return bus from there. The added fun of it was that I "had" to do it in 5 hours to avoid missing the bus.
Luckily this last section only had about 1 hour of mountain terrain and the rest was flat pampa with wind from behind helping me.
I made it in time, with something different to the rest of the trekkers, and additionally at the Forrest Guard base they stamped my passport with the Torres del Paine stamp which is something that not too many people manage to get - basically because they return on the boat.
All in all, it was a tough but very rewarding 5 day walk with 98 kilometres in total and quite a few climbs and descents. Im sure future walks will be much easier now we have learnt some of the tricks of the trade...especially about blisters!
