Woke up at about 8am to tidy up and head back to Bergen. Having rained most of the night we had to spend a bit of time drying out the tent before packing that up. Grabbed our last breakfast and coffee in Flam before driving the route back to Bergen through all the tunnels, along the beautiful mountains and streams.
When arriving in Bergen we decided to do a bit of exploring by car looking for the Arborium and a church in Fana which I assume is a suburb of Bergen. Really pretty. Everything is just so green in that country, that there's not much that one would consider to be easy on the eye...
Waited for a while to catch our plane from Bergen to Stansted but enjoyed quite comfortable chairs while doing so.
Yet another winner of a holiday, and would recommend it to anyone! Do realise though that Norway is a relatively expensive country, but we managed to get by on a pretty good budget over the 4 days that we were there...
See how nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...we need silence to be able to touch souls.
