After almost 3 years of working and living in Vancouver, Canada, it was time for me to move back to Germany. But I thought before I go back home to my boring everyday life I need a nice final vacation. My roommate Sarah of course was up for a short trip, too. We were thinking about a 2-week-all-inclusive-resort-vacation in Mexico ! Some sunbathing on the beach, cocktails, palm trees and the ocean... But we couldn't decide on where to go out of all these beautiful places in Mexico. So this is how it became a 4-week-backpacking-trip from Mexico City to Cancun. From the desert around the Distrito Federal through the jungle and ancient Maya ruins around Palenque over sleeping in hammocks at the most beautiful beaches in the Yucatan to swimming in crystal clear cenotes in Cuzuma and my first diving experience along the coral reef around Isla Mujeres...

If you click on the video you will find a slide show with all the descriptions on the sights and even with original mexican music... It might take a few minutes to download it, but it's worth it !!!

Enjoy... ;o)

Hi, I enjoyed watching your video I saw posted on tripadvisor. I loved the music, could you list what songs/artists they were? Thanks.
