Where I stayed

On the way back from Danau 'Lake' Maninjau, we stopped over at a small hill town called Singgalang. This is around 1 hours from the earlier visited location.

There is a small souvenir shop here and when you walk through that souvenir shop, there is a terrace where one can sit and enjoy the beauty that is surrounding that area. Here the breeze is extremely strong, the weather very cool and its all hills around.

Only trace of human existence here is small homes surrounded by lush agriculture. What else could one ask for. All we did here was sit at this terrace for a long period of time, both of us being speechless and enjoyed the lovely surroundings.

As we had a tight schedule, the driver indicated that we needed to leave to proceed to our next destination and with a heavy heart, I left this place. Along the way, also in this town, we did a brief stop for lunch and the journey continued. I wished that I could express myself further in words at the beauty of this place but I hope that the photographs shall speak for itself.
