The restaurant setting was average, just a wooden shack, with lots of locals having their meals. We ordered food and it was not bad indeed, not to the mark that I had expected it to be, but relatively good.
With that, the bill came as well, not too cheap as Taiping was, or perhaps they were charging us much higher rates as they noticed the car number plates were from Kuala Lumpur. I guess, we would never know.
After dinner was over around 11 pm, we headed back to Ipoh and the journey back was not too bad after all, the jam had subsided and the journey was smooth. In Ipoh, we arrived just about midnight and along the journey, most of the kids had already slept. We were glad in a way that we made this trip as definitely the kids had their share of fun and happiness.
