Where I stayed
The next destination was the Silk Street Mall. This is a five story building which is filled with stalls that sell various items like garments, silk items, scarves, jewelry, imitation jewelry, souvenirs and many more.
The bus parked at the parking lot and our guide gave us about two hours here, both to shop and then have our dinner. Having two hours to spend, we went floor by floor, scouting the place from corner to corner. Along the way, I did buy some good souvenirs.
All items purchased here must be bargained, always start with 95% lower than the opening price and finally settle for 10 - 15% (max) of the opening price, not a single cent more. Someone would surely give it to you at the price asked for.
Once the shopping was done, I went down to the subway station to cross over to the other building across the street, to Mc Donalds. I could not find any other proper restaurant here and I did not want to be experimenting with the stall food.
After dinner, we headed back to the bus and it was almost eight pm and we were about to leave.

Hi Wonderland Hotels, indeed its a great place to shop. Thank you.
Well, its sold by the grams. Sad that it did not last. By the time I came back to Malaysia, it had already turned sour. Initially, that guy told that it would last for 3 weeks without being refrigerated. :(
In one of these Malls here I remember we bought a very nice quilt.
Hi Greekcypriot, thats nice. Im sure you must have bargained till your throats went dry. Hehehe
A NO GO place to take my wife. Hehehe Great entry Venoth.
LOL. Then she would be having fun here and beating the toll out of your wallet or plastics. :p
