We arrived at Blue Lagoon Beach at 1.00 pm exactly. This is one of my favorite beaches here. One of the main reasons is that it is not as crowded at the Teluk Kemang beach and it is one of the remaining clean beaches here in Port Dickson.

Upon arrival, we unloaded the items and found a right spot under a tree for our picnic. The beach was crowded too, but not as bad as Teluk Kemang beach. Another beauty of this beach is the Cape Rachado light house which is located here. That is the highest peak in Port Dickson and this is also where the Portuguese ship 'Nassau' sank and the Portuguese lost to the Dutch.

We had out lunch here. Every now and then, we had to look back to chase away the monkeys which were trying to steal food for the picnickers. In fact, the campers just beside us lost a packet filled with cakes to these monkeys.

I guess, since we had a 1 year old with us, most of the concentration was on this boy. We enjoyed watching him explore the beach for the first time in his life. Another famous attraction here in all the beaches in Port Dickson is the 'Banana Boat' for hire. It is a unique banana shaped boat which would be anchored to a speed boat. Was thinking of trying it but the rest were quite scared, hence had to abort the idea.

After having our lunch, we decided to move on to the apartment as anyway it has already struck ten past two in the afternoon and that is the suggested check in time for this apartment. Packed our stuffs and we moved on to head to the apartment.

Generally from my brief observation this trip, PD was pretty much the same as it was a few years ago when I came here. Nothing much was done by the local authorities to promote the tourism here. Deserted hotels and apartments were still abundantly visible throughout the road. I hope, the state government does something about this soon. It is just a waste if this place could not be promoted and built back to its past glory.

What a beautiful beach...It reminded me of Koh Samui some years back.

Yeah, the beach is beautiful. It is sad that not much promotion is given to these beaches. Someone aught to do something about this.
