Just as I had suspected earlier, we arrived here slightly late than planned. We arrived at 1435 and by the time we reached the jetty, the ferry had already started berthing out and there was nothing that we could do about it but just wait for the next ferry.
We were told that the next ferry is at 1545, quite a long wait, but luckily this jetty was nice, since it was owned and maintained by the resort as it was a dedicated jetty for this resort. We had some drinks while waiting here and somehow the jetty seemed familiar, it must have been the shooting site for one of the recent tamil movies which I had watched, just cannot recall which one now.
Time passed on and the ferry arrived at 1540. We boarded the ferry, just us and another group of musicians. Somehow, this ferry moved out late, they only left the jetty at 1600. Just wished that the earlier ferry did leave late too and that would have allowed us to board that without the long wait.
Anyway, the ferry was nice, simple and cosy.
