Along the way, we first stopped at Ravana Falls.
From there onwards, we went up hill further and stopped for lunch at a government rest house. Beautiful surrounding area, cool weather and soothing views.
Next, we went up hill further and stopped at Seetha Temple.
And finally at the top of the ascent, we reached the beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya. It was so cold there that we had to wear two ply of clothing to keep warm.

Many of them do. Sri Lanka is the only country in the world where Tamil is given importance. In fact they have 2 official languages, Sinhala & Tamil. Every signage, document and even in court of law, Tamil can be used. And there is a lot of mix marriages happening there. Even schools, you could opt for Sinhala stream or Tamil stream.
