Arrived at LCCT KLIA at 1245. Straight went to the immigration counter to clear the check. Strangely, I saw flies all over in certain places at the airport. This is something that I have never seen before. Strange I thought to myself.

After clearing the immigration, only then I realized how flies were there inside a world class airport. There seems to be a new outlet which has opened recently which is called Pangkor Jewels. They are selling sea produce from Pangkor Island. To name a few, dried sea products like dried cuttlefish, dried anchovies and so on. Well, I have traveled a certain number of countries and most of them being 3rd world countries and some 1st world countries. Never in any airport have I seen such a stall. Congratulations to Malaysia for being the first to import flies into the airport. I wonder whose idea it was and who it was that approved the stall permit.

Then had some lunch at the cafes in the waiting lounge and just relaxed until boarding time. My flight is scheduled for 1455. At 1425, there comes an announcement that the flight has been delayed and is expected to touch down in KLIA at 1450. There goes another 30 minutes wasted, but 30 minutes ain't too bad when compared to hours which I have had to wait in the past.

Finally, the boarding announcement came at 1510 and the flight took off at 1520. Hmmm...happy that it had finally taken off without a second announcement of further delay.
