With all the long preparation, finally the day arrives for my trip to South India. I did most of my packing last night and just the final toiletries to be packed for today.

I was pretty much warned by many on the possible hazards which I may have to face in Chennai, especially when it comes to food poisoning. Just to complement that, I have equipped myself with sufficient medications for vomiting, diarrhea and flu. Hopefully, I do  not get any one of those.

From the maps, I understand I shall be staying in West Mambalam area in Chennai and I was told by some friends that Saravanabhavan Restaurant is just a few doors away from the hotel. Hopefully, this trip gives me what I have been awaiting to experience.

There is quite a bit of traveling to do as well during this trip and hopefully, I do not get worn out. Tomorrow, planning to leave home pretty early as I need to be at the airport by 4.30 am to catch my flight which is scheduled for 6.30 am.

As usual, my entire travel has been organized locally here by Parlo Travels, my usual travel agency and the Indian counterpart is Travel Corporation (India) Pvt Ltd. which has its head quarters in New Delhi. I was told that this company is somewhat the largest networked company in India with over 60 branches nationwide. The arrangement have been made in accordance to the itinerary which I have requested which includes a driver and a car 24/7 throughout the stay in India.

Besides my usual packing, I have also got more SDHC cards just in case of more photography being taken during my stay there. Hope to keep the blogs posted throughout my journey. I would need to find cyber cafes every night, not only for the blogs but I need to check my emails as well.
