Where I stayed
A 3 days 2 nights trip to Labuan, pearl of the South CHina Sea. A beautiful town full of historical places to visit. Great place to shop around too. Today, was more of shopping and just driving around. Basicly, most of the shops close by around 7pm. After that, its all the pubs that are open. So, after dinner, just stayed back in the room and relaxed.A fresh new day begins. Today, our itenarry is to explore labuan to the fullest extent. The only place we did not visit is the Southern tip of labuan which is the diving and snorkeling area. But if you are an adventurist, you should definitely visit that area. Also ask fora boat ride to Snake Island where you will be able to see various sea snakes in their natural habitat.Today, we are scheduled to go back to KL. So, basicly, its all about last minute shopping and so on. Then we had lunch, and straight to the airport for our flight back home. Among the places visited are Labuan Plaza, Labuan Yacht Club, Labuan Clock Tower, Labuan Sikh Temple (replica of the Golden Temple in Amritsar), Labuan Botanical Garden, Labuan Bay, Labuan Bird Park, The Chimney, Underground Tunnels, Labuan International Sea Sport Complex, Manja Rasa Restaurant (must try), Labuan Museum, World War II Grave, Murugan Temple in Air Force Base, Labuan Floating Village, Labuan Ferry Terminal (best place for chocolates) and Labuan Fish Head Curry Restaurant.
