We organised to get back to Bremen so we could go that night to see Werder Bremen play in the league semi final! When we arrived it poured down and we even thought we may not make it to the football, but we did!!! We got great standing tickets under the roof!! The game was fantastic and Werder won - so into the final!!! We stayed after the game and the players came out to warm down!

After much crazy fun...it came to our last eurail pass days!!!! We stayed the night of the 3rd in Hannover about 1 hr away!!! A very pretty city which we´ve been to a few times and never looked too far into!! A fantastic old town with lovely half wooded houses, beautiful churches and even church ruins covered in the vines of ages!!! On our last eurail day we headed to Braunschweig (Brunswick) Which after a long walk - not usually the case with german train stations and inner cities, we got to the very lovely old town centre!!! A lot is being refurbished like the HUGE castle in the centre, and there are amazing ancient buildings like the town hall and church.
After here we took a train to Osnabruek...it took about 3 hours which we didnt realise so we got there too late to look at anything!!! The great thing was, our last train from there back to Bremen was a Panorama train (which came from the alps and was finishing in Hamburg) with HUGE windows to the roof and so comfortable!!! It was a fun last hurrah for our battered old Eurail ticket!!!!
