We made our way into the depths of Europe, starting at romantic Verona a day after Italy won the world cup! The trip there was great, beautiful mountainside villages and vinyards stretching for miles! Hotel we found was lovely they had huge fresh flower bouquets in reception every morning! An amazing old square with ampitheatre from 2000 years ago, apparently 3rd biggest in the world but better preserved than say the one in Rome! That night Eric Clapton played there and we could hear it perfectly sitting outside!!! Free concert yay!
We ate pizza, lots of gelati and saw Julietīs balcony!
