On we drive up the western ghats, the drive is great, with a lot of twisties. Again words don't describe. Pictures attached

We find ourself on the road to Shringeri, a hindu pilgrimage place. Abode of one of the shankaracharyas.

Let me take a break, Murudeshwar, Shringeri... no we are not on a pilgrimage. Its just so happens that many religious places also happen to be very worthwhile places to visit.

The temple is serene just like most others and situated on the banks of a river. The temple serves free food. My wife and I have that simple temple meal, with very differrent reactions -I'll not elaborate.
