Arrrigato finnaly had chance visit Padang - west sumatra :) arrived in Minangkabau international airport  i choosed the driver from the hotel to pick me up instead of  taxi because it was so late night arrived in Padang and i was alone in new city so lil bit afraid if should go by taxi.   I stayed in west sumatra for 4 days and of course everyday i ate the padangs foods which was rendang everyday :p as we know everytime we hear the word "padang" we will remember the padang fooooodds :) one of the padangnese food theres rendang.. rendang is the #1 most delicious food in the world (Based on CNN Survey).. Rendang is a spicy meat dish which originated from the Minangkabau/padang, :D Stayed at pangeran hotel for two nights, i should come to padang alone until my friend zanty and her sist came on the 2rd day on late nite:) hotel served very yummy foods.  I can say the hotel was so old but has the good and clean pool near the beach :) so afternoon when i did nothing i could swim and killed boredom and enjoyed the beach and the wind.

Finally myfriend zanty came and yaaayy  we were ready for the trip .. first we bought the souvenirs, snack for our colleagues, friends and famz we bought some spicy cassava crisps and so on so on.. i saw lots buildings hotels, houses were being renovated and rebuilt. The huge earthquake hit Padang -  west sumatra in 2009 and i still remember the shaking. it was the biggest earthquake i ever had.

When i was in west sumatra island I Visited :

1.  Jam Gadang / Massive Clock

This is the landmark of Bukit Tinggi. You havent been in west  Sumatra if you not visit this landmark. The location is in the middle of the town, very near from zanty's house, we walk  just 5 minutes. As a  center town, the location near this clock usually busy and crowded. People enjoy chilling in this area. Not far from the clock there is a  traditional market called Pasar Atas. We can find many thing in there,  They sell various hand woven, moslem praying mat, souvenirs, hand made textile, everything. Do not  forget to bargain a half price from the offering price :D

2. Singkarak Lake

The lake is very big and has a great panoramic view, we had lunch near the lake, and the bought bili fish 3 KG :D zanty said the fish is the best fish ever, and only n can be found in  sumatra specifically near the singkarak lake because the fish only lives in there

3.   Pagaruyung Palace

Me and mates were dressed up as minangs brides hahahah Corney but it was cool and fun when we sud wear minangs wedding gown and of course we look so lovely :) *wink* well the gown so colorful and nott forget the crown we used, its called "suntiang" the real bride sould use the suntiang and the weight of the suntiang is almost 5 KG.. its sooo heavy dude  J

4.   Ngarai Sianok / Sianok Valley

Located in the center of Bukit Tinggi, Ngarai Sianok offers great view, there are many monkeys living in ngarai sianok, they were acting so lovely. I love monkeys their face are so cute. We can feed them with nuts or bananas. they are happy when we feed them. Don't be scared they not bite and they are so friendly.

5. Harau Cliff

So far this is the highest cliff/valley i have ever seen, on myway to harau its truly breathtaking :D two hours drive from Bukit Tinggi, the harai is located in Payakumbuh district. There is a waterfall near the cliff, but if its dry season, theres a little  water in this waterfall. The water is so cold, the air is so frest and the place itself is worth a visit.

to be continued :D
