Day 1 was fairly uneventful. I ran into the host of the reunion at DIA where he had been stranded over night. We caught up while waiting for our flight to Vegas. When we got there we checked into the lovely Motel 6 and headed to the strip. We started the day with a quick bite and then headed over to Bill's for a craps lesson. Len had never played and I was rusty on all the rules so a free lesson is always good. After the crash course we played for quite a while hitting several different casinos looking for the "cheap" tables. There really weren't any considering it was superbowl weekend. We went downtown to get away from the strip casinos but the minimums weren't any better there so we had a round of beers at one of the breweries.

After tooling around for most of the day we headed back to the motel to shower and change. My feet were already killing me and it was only day one. We went and had dinner at Emeril's fish house. It was fantastic. Definately worth going to if you're there. We then went to the Drew Carey show. It was the Vegas version of "who's line is it" with all the faces you see on TV. We were third row from the stage so we had a great view. It was pretty damn funny and just as it always is if you've ever watched the show. The major difference being that the language and topics were not rated for TV. We then hit the casinos some more for some drinks and craps before crapping out around midnight.
