Another gorgeous day in Tahoe, although it went down to about 1 degree last night.....lesson learnt....thermals for bed tonight!

Didn't take long for it to warm up this morning, probably about 27 today. We headed across the road for a hearty breakfast of crispy bacon, over easy eggs, toast and coffee. We were running low on supplies so took a taxi to Safeway and stocked up before returning to grab our gear and head to the beach. While me and Denise did a little sun bathing Kezza and Ant hired a speed boat and took off across the lake for Emerald Bay. The sights are spectacular as you can see from the pictures :)

Currently sat writing this while we try and get the fire pit burning ready for steak and sausages....and a bit of green stuff.

Tomorrow we leave for Mammoth Lakes, the first part of the journey along the historic US 395.

...and before we sign off the fire pit is burning burning burning, check out the picture of tea!! :)

PS: the photo of the guy with the dog is Bill (the camp host) and his yorkie Zoe. He's been so helpful while we've been here, he's bought us fire wood and charcoal for the BBQ, fixed our leaky water hose and generally looked after us RV newbies!
