Today we left Buckeye Lake and hit the road to Louisville Kentucky, for us a shorter journey at last, only 250 miles. Sods law ensured we encountered traffic jams around Cincinnatti but eventually made it here about 1500, after the required liquor store stop where Terry and Dave decided they needed a small bottle of scotch to replenish the 4 they had already sent to a good home, we then had our first experience of forgetting that they drive on the right over here, strange people, that had nothing to do with the licquor store stop. Of course Liz and I needed wine, suitably restocked. Last night before leaving Buckeye I finally got my fire ring, and I don't mean we had a hot curry (see photos). The weather was lovely today and found that on our arrival they had a heated swimming pool, I was straight there, well after a couple of beers to wash the dust of the road away. Imagine our delight when we found that they also had a massive American sized hot tub. Terry says that this was just what he needed for his, apparently broken ribs, he is suffering from (yawn yawn). Just in evie tonight for dinner then next stop Nashville Tennesse and the grand ol opree.
