Arrived last night after long journey 500 miles plus, wont be driving that far again in one go. however today we did the Niagara Falls tour with our friendly tour guide and driver Ed.  We covered both sides of the falls USA and Canada, with the first part going onto the Maid of the Mist boat with our trusty blue ponchos (see photos).   OMG, what can we say it was absolutely awe inspiring and totally mind blowing words cant describe it, to actually be in the heart of this fantastic wonder of nature and to experience it in the raw was just awesome it was just so unbelievable.   The next stage was cave of winds (see photos see yellow ponchos and check out the free sandals), where we had great fun getting wet and misbehaving under the spray, and the roar of the falls was deafening.

Next we travelled over the the Canadian side (yay another stamp on our passports).  First stop was table rock we walked parallel to the falls and gorge. more awesome sights were Terry actually pulled in the burger bar she wanted him to stay there with her (she did wear glasses though).
then on to the Skylone Tower where a outside glass fronted lift took us over 512 feet to magnificent views of the falls and Toronto in the distance, again the views were incredible, but the Canadian weather was biting a bit although the sun did come out so we could experience a rainbow over the falls. Then further onto the gorge and the Niagara whirlpool and rapids another miracle of nature where the fast running river turns a bend and turns on intself anti clockwise, it was really weird to see and the funnel goes down 160 feet incredible or what?.  From there we went to the flower clock (see photos) were the local acrigculture college maintain as part of their degrees where 22000 different plants make up the pattern to commemorate the 1812 war between britain and the usa (see the photo notice the hands made of crutches).  Last stop to the obligatory souvenir shop and back to evie the r.v for drinkies and happy after a great day out.   Tomorrow we are off to Nashville with a overnight stop on the way we dont know where the overnight stay will be but will let you know.
