Maastricht loomed. On the border of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, we had finally arrived. We drove into town, found a spot to park, found the coffee shop as well. That was my job done. We walked around having a look, and then drove off. We were headed in the direction of Hoge Veluwe National Park. This place used to be owned by a couple who had no kids, so they gave their property to the Government. He used to hunt deer on it, and she used to collect Van Goghs. Upon arrival, you walk in, pick up a pushbike and ride to see the sights. There is the hunting lodge, the sculpture park and the 2nd largest collection of Van Gogh paintings. It was a good place. Next stop was Amsterdam, once again. Being the tourists that we are, we went to the Heineken Brewery again !!!!! Then we needed to find an internet café. There were three around the Leidesplein. The VVV said to go over three canals and turn right. We did this, looked up, there was a sign for an internet café and one for a coffee shop. It turned out that they were one in the same. Rolling numbers and writing emails. What more could a boy want. Lucy, let me float around while she did her thing. It was fun for the moment. The local magazine to read is Boom Chicago. The best information that it provides is that there is an amusement park called Eftling, which they rate higher than Euro Disney. After travelling around for five and a half months, this was a good break. It was great fun and a good day out. Our trip was coming to a close by now and we did not know how much money was left. Everyday was a bonus for us. Jono was waiting in Brussels. He had a flat and beers. This would be a nice way to finish
