Nigel Tufnel, the guitarist from Spinal Tap had an amp that went to eleven. When questioned as to why this was so, he stated that eleven was larger than ten, so it must be more louder !!! Using this theory as a guage, Lucy and I decided that as we had been to ten Oktoberfests, the only thing to do was to do a Nigel and make it eleven. Well, Eleven is larger so it should be better than ten !!!

Now I could bore you with stories which you have all heard before from the other ten Oktoberfests, so I won't, but here is basically what happened.

Our friend Woggy in Australia, once again came up with the goods and produced commemorative shirts for the occasion. We took Bec the Fest virgin as she needed to abuse her body !!! PP Travel supplied us with a room at the Senator hotel, 200 metres from the entrance and gave us the penthouse suite with views over the ground.

We did a pre-fest drinking session at various places on the Friday. Saturday was spent in the Lowenbrau. It was hard getting up the next day, but when we did, we spent the day in the Fischer Vroni tent, which a lot of locals will tell you, that this is the best tent. Trust me, you can't beat the fish here and as an added bonus, they serve Augustiner which is the best beer in Munich. For a Fest virgin, Bec excelled and picked up a Kiwi. Well done Bec !!!

And that was basically it !!!

And Finally

So was eleven better than ten? Don't really remember but the twelth is coming up fast !!!
