One of the most important recreational sites in Syria where forests and mountains surrounding the banks of 7 beautiful lakes in a spectacular view (Ministry of Tourism).

According to http://syrianhiking.blogspot.com/2005/05/al-jaware7.html the lake is about 20km from Latakia and is a lake surrounded by magical views, plants and forests, it is also a natural reservation. The land area is surrounded by restaurants and a hotel and according to Amr Faham (whose the link) there are no water activities apart from the boat tour and would be improved by some water activities due to the extensive area of the lake.
