The USAFE Band just completed a 9 day concert band tour through the Czech Republic (Plzen, Brno), Hungary (Papa), and Slovakia (Bratislava, Prievidza, Lučenec, Banská Bystrica, and Nitra).  It was a great tour!  Beautiful surroundings.  Good beer!  I was fortunate to play principal on this tour and had a big clarinet solo in Frank Ticheli's "Blue Shades".   I also got to reconnect with my second cousin, Tor Lindbloom, who now lives in Bratislava.  Overall, a wonderful tour!
