Where I stayed
Kinga's aunt's (Marcsa's) home
Today we went for a hike. Kinga's aunt Marcsa took us out to the Bukk mountains where we walked on the train tracks for hours. We collected blue glass-like rocks that Kinga's been talking about for years now, how she's found these odd beautiful blue rocks by some train tracks and once we got to this place she recognized it and immediately the search for them began.
We later stumbled upod a salmon farm adjacent to a restaurant where you could eat the freshest salmon possible. Oddly though, the place was heavily guarded by seven dogs and an electric barbed wire fence. I guess people like to steal the salmon from the ponds. We hiked to the famous Iron Furnace (for lack of better translation) where for years the mined iron from the mountains was molted down, purified, and sold.
We also found several caves and entrances to underground mines and tunnels that cave enthusiasts explore in their free time. Our hike ended for a short time at Lilafured by the four star hotel and the waterwall below it, and from there we continued to Diosgyor where we ate the best ice cream thus far on our around the world trip at the Kisgergely Fagyizo in Diosgyor. It was a beautiful (and exhausting) hike.
