We arrived in the isalnd of Serifos in the Cyclades Islands in Greece after a long haul including night sailing and navigation of the Corinth Canal. The island has a beautiful old town at the top of a high peak overlooking the harbour and port.
Nik and Cathy decided to climb to the top of the town by foot, following the old donkey trail while Colin, Christine and Neil decided to use the easier route of the town bus. Sticky the skipper also braved part of the hill after winning major points for finding a beautiful bakery as we arrived in harbour in the early hours of the morning and purchased six warm croissants.
We are now heading for the island of Ios en route for Marmaris with the weather not looking too hot but strong winds to help us on our way.
Two Seas has performed very well in the conditions and sails well in strong or light winds.
Staying overnight in Serifos meant the crew were able to have a few cold beers at the top of the old town in a smart (but expensive) bar called The Tap.
Onwards to Mrama
