Our Hero found the deadliest combination in the world. Beer for 1.40 a pint and a vodka shot that actually goes down well. Needless to say the rest of the time spent in Latvia was very drunken, bt none of the nights lived up to the thrill that was bungee jumping.

Sialui was the next stop, a town known as the sun city was violently raining the entire time. Outside this city is the Hill of Crosses, some 200 000 crosses all placed together on to a hill in the middle of nowhere as a gesture of defiance to communism. The hostel he stayed at was perhaps the creepiest place stayed at so far, since there was nobody else there. Defeated, the Three had a second night in of beer and playing cards.

Vilnius however has proven to be a much more beautiful city than Riga. The Lithuanian people are very nice, one group even offered to get our hero home after he got lost staying up late clubbing. He also got to experience shooting on a firing range. The Three were told to sit by the fountain and wait for a van to come pick them up, always a good start. Once there  they were taken to the wilderness to a disused Soviet Military Bunker where they were treated to firing of Three pistols, including a .357 revolver, two sub machine guns ( MP5 Navy and Uzi), a pump action shotgun, and four rifles including anM4 and an AK47. Accuracy and technique did appear to escape him it would seem.

Nights out Have revolved around a place known as Woo which has become an amps away from amps for our hero. Drinks were cheap, people laid back and the music was great. The three also met another three who were driving from London to Mongolia, and they convinced the three to take part in  Tequila Suicide. In hindsight this may have been a bad decision.

Today our heroes have decided to spend alcohol free to recover from all these Baltic adventures, combined with the fact tomorrow will be a long bus ride to Warsaw.

The Baltic days are over, but it was an experience our hero will never forget.

Thank goodness The Hero has recorded his good times. Too much drinking could have him forget. He's having the time of his life. Our love to you hero.
