I'm addicted to British tv. I find myself just sitting and watching the stupidest things but liking it. There's a show on called "TV Burp" with a guy making fun of the various shows from the week (mostly soap operas) - he points out the dumb things they say and do...it's pretty hilarious. They have a celebrity "Big Brother" show on every night though I don't know any of the celebrities - that one's kinda lame. The news stories are emphasized with a Big Ben "bong!" of the bell.
I forgot to mention I visited the National Gallery and saw the mediocre works of various so-called "artists" - Da Vinci, Renoir, Monet, Raphael, etc... I decided the museum needed some real art so I doodled up a quick masterpiece and tacked it to the wall. Soon hordes of people were gathered round paying homage to the brilliant exhibition. I only signed it "m0t" so they'll never be able to track me down. Fame is overrated.
Tomorrow I head off to York where it's supposed to be even colder (what is it, winter or something!?!). So it's my last night in London for a bit.

"Sunday all the lights of London
Shining , Sky is fading red to blue
I'm kicking through the Winter leaves
And wondering where it is you might be going to
Turning back for home
You know I'm feeling so alone
I can't believe
Climbing on the stair
I turn around to see you smiling there
In front of me"
