Thank god we made it out of freakin' Minot. Had the long drive to Yellowstone. We tried to go in the north entrance, got about 2/3 of the way there only to discover it closed. A sign back at the main highway would've been nice. Did get to see a moose along the way though...and lots of pretty scenery. We were very low on gas so I was worried we were going to get stuck out there. Luckily we made it back to the main highway and a gas station. We went to a campground close to the eastern entrance of Yellowstone and setup camp.
Very cold night in the tent. Drive into Yellowstone with walls of snow on either side. The lake was frozen over. We went to a couple vista points for views of waterfalls, the Norris bubbly area, middle geyser basin and the Old Faithful area. Got to see lots of bison too. The pools of clear water were cool. We continued driving north into Montana and found a place to camp.

The car wasn't starting good. We had to pop the clutch to get it going. Make the drive from Montana through Idaho to Wenatchee, where my parents live. Took the car to the Honda dealership there for fixing. Hung out with my parents and visited my cousin at the restaurant she was working at.
I was up early and went and saw my grandma. Josh and I played some basketball, watched a movie then got the car and drove to Mt Vernon and dropped Josh off at his mom's. I continued on to Seattle and stayed at my sister's.

This was a fun 9 week race around the U.S. It was great to get to see some of my own country. There's some cool stuff out there. I especially liked the national parks. Missed quite a few states but that gives me reason to get out on the road again. In the end we drove over 16,000 miles! College is over, the post-college trip is done....guess that means I have to get a job. :(
