Let me check my checklist one more time for Italy:

1) camo pants/camo face paint.
2)  stun gun/rohyphnal
3)  map to George Clooney's summer home.

Great!  Packed everything I needed.  Can't wait to hit the road and make George my bitch!! haha!  Actually, we ended up going through Austria on the way down to Italy and back up through the lake region on our way home.  No George.  Poor me!!  Seeing Italy has always been a dream of mine.  Of course, I thought it would be in a 2 week spurt and not 6 days.  However, a blessing is a blessing even if it doesn't come the way you thought it would, so I decided to go.  I'm not going to lie....it was fast and furious (and HOT AS HELL!).  My advice to you is to never, NEVER go to Italy in August.  Besides the heat, there are tons of tourists everywhere and it takes about 2 hours to get inside something (if you're lucky). When you go (especially in Rome), take a tour if you aren't familiar with the city because it is huge and everything is spread out.

Did you know Innsbruck hosted the Winter Olympics twice?  It's located in the Alps and there are BIG ski jumps on the side of the mountains.   You can luge in the summer on a track using a board with wheels.  I skipped that part!  I absolutely love Austria and it's people.  They are so nice and everything is super clean.  The food is great too.  Anyway, this was a short stop.  It's on to Italy!
