HE SAID:
We are leaving in 4 days to Hawaii.  We will flying to Hawaii on Hawaiian Airlines from Las Vegas and changing planes in Honolulu and connecting to Maui.  Our 1st stop is Maui and we will be staying in Maui for one month and then we are heading off to the North Shore of Kauai.  We rented a townhouse in Maui for the month at Kaanapali Plantation. (click link)  The Plantation is really lush and green and was many years ago, an old pineapple plantation.

It is directly across the street from one of the nicest beaches in Maui and the view from the townhouse is of the ocean with the only obstructions being some palm trees and mango trees.......sweet.   Kaanapali is located on the west side of Maui and because of its location on the west side, we will be treated to some fabulous sunsets everyday just like the one you see in our profile picture when you logged on.
Here is a map of maui and Kaanapali is on the west side just below Napili and Kapalua which is one of our favorite parts of the island.

I am really looking forward to our relocation to Hawaii.  I am very fortunate because of the nature of my job, I can work out of anywhere.  Because of the time difference, Hawaii being 6 hours behind the east coast of the mainland US, I will be waking up very early in the morning.  However, when daylight saving kicks in on November 1st, it will only be a 5 hour time difference because Hawaii does not do the daylight savings thingy.  (Clocks get turned back 1 hour the first Sunday of November every year on the mainland for daylight savings).  I really have no problem waking up very early as I now wake up at about 5:00 AM every morning in Vegas without even setting my alarm clock.  But the real nice reward of starting my day and waking up early is that my working day will be complete early.  That gives us the entire afternoon to cool out and enjoy the pleasures of the island.  Should be quite interesting watching the Sunday football games at 7 AM Maui time.  Just made a few future book plays at Wynn Casino for some season long football action.

I bet the following props......
1) Philip Rivers most passing yards for the season at 17-1
2) Aaron Rogers most passing yards for the season at 15-1
Drew Brees is the current favorite at 3-1 but BFD does not bet the chalk and will be rooting for Mr. Brees to get his head rung the 1st week of the season.

I am still thinking about getting down on a few more plays such as Michael Turner for the leading rushing title at 8-1 (Adrian Peterson is the fav at 3-1) and possibly Greg Jennings for most Pass Receiving odds at 15-1 (Larry Fitzgerald is the fav at 5-1)

I also made one play on the Eli vs. Payton prop.  I bet a few shekels on the Giants to win more games than the Colts.  Was always a big Payton fan thru the years but am shorting him now.  The dude might be getting a bit old and his mobility is getting more and more limited.....Just look what happened to old man HA Jerkens at the spa this summer.  He beat Secretariat with Onion (click link) and he gets the big donut this year at the Spa....just so sad.

I am currently finalizing all of our departure details and will be closing up our Las Vegas condo. (click link).  Got my new MacBook Pro computer, wireless internet along with unlimited long distance calling to the mainland which has been set up at all our residence in Hawaii.  Now, all the tools are in place for the Vegas King of Closing to become the Aloha King of Closing.
