~Yellow to all my friends~
Today was a nice, calm, slow day. We went to an ancient town called Kaunos and to the BEACH!!
At Kaunos we saw the rock tombs. We did not go up in them, but mom got some good pictures. There were sheep grazing next to the remains of a huge amphitheater. There was a old Turkish lady sitting in the amphitheater selling orange juice. We rode in a row boat across the river. It was a small row boat. I was afraid it might tip over!
Next was the beach. At the beach we just...well...walked and looked at shells. I took off my flip flops and ran in the waves. After the beach we went to dinner. The meal was great, but I have a way with animals. When a cat walked up, I tossed her some food. As the dinner went on another cat and two dogs came to sit with me. I fed them all. After dinner we where going to the car was I had the same two dogs following...well they where right at my side! They followed me to the car and the REALLY big one ( a big German shepherd) liked me so much he tried to get in the car! Dad gave him a little push and a dirty look. He watched me go... now I am in the room typing this blog.

The big German Shepherd brings back memories
Dear Granddaughter: I'm remembering a wonderful STRAY German shepherd running up to me in Sedalia, MO when your daddy was little. We brought him home to live with us & named his Shawn. You have a heart of compassion for animals...so do I!
Raining here in RC; grass green, Spring is here!
Grampa is walking Sparky (rain or shine!) today.
Love, Gramama in SD
P.S. Did you find any pretty shells on that beach?
