The weeks have turned into days and now the days have turned into hours until we leave behind the city and the country where we have lived for years.  All of our planning, waiting, and wishing away the days, have come to a head and now we are left wanting more time to finish packing everything we own into two suitcases -- actually, make that three.

Our last weekend here was a busy one, spent saying goodbye to old friends and family over in Oshawa, across to Milton, back over to Whitby and finally, heads spinning, back to Toronto.

On Sunday we planned a goodbye-whirlwind-tour of the city on a Double-Decker bus. Smiling like hapless tourists with camera in tow, we arrived on time for a bright and early 8:30AM start, ready to explore Hogtown.  Except, that the bus didn't actually arrive until 10:30AM and it wasn't even a Double-decker bus, but a Single-Decker trolley.  Apparently, Toronto sightseeing tours aren't that popular early on a Sunday morning. In fact, there was no one on it except us, the driver, and the tour guide who was amused that she was giving a tour of Toronto to Torontonians.

Despite our shaky start we did manage to take a fair number of pictures, trying somehow, to capture the memories and magic of everything that Toronto is.

These pictures that follow will document the beginnings of our excellent adventure.  We hope you enjoy them!
