Went for an early morning run with Arne along the fjord. Wooded trails, short sprints ending with a very cold "sea bath".
We left Meisingset and Arne headed for Videseter. The trip was long but the scenery was breathtaking. Endless fjords and steep, narrow mountain roads. All of the women with the exception of Sunniva, seem to be terrified of any sort of curve in the road, making for a long unpleasant ride. We took several ferry rides including Geiranger fjord with beautiful, steep, cloud covered mountains. We drove off the ferry at Geiranger then up a very steep, windy, narrow mountain road with very little marking. We drove up into rain then snow and began to wonder if we were on the right road. We finally found a lodge and verified the proper direction, proceeding on to Stryn. The Videseter Hotel turned out to be 30 minutes out of Stryn. The establishment looked a little iffy when we arrived but ended up being comfortable and accomodating. The only complaint was lack of WiFi in the rooms. We had to sit in the lounge to access.
